Lessons on being a more considerate person #2

This afternoon, I had lunch at an Italian restaurant on the ground floor of an office building. It was a casual dining restaurant, meant for the office workers and the prices were very reasonable. While I was waiting for my food, a man seated at the table next to mine behaved quite inconsiderately...

Lesson #2: Don't snap your fingers or clap your hands for a waiter's attention

This may not apply worldwide, but I'm betting in most places, waiters (and waitresses) would dislike being "summoned" by finger-snapping or hand-clapping. Yes, sometimes they're too busy to notice a raised hand or a wave, but they are people too, and everyone deserves some respect. In an office environment, if your colleague is trying to get your attention, you would expect him to get up and walk to your desk, or call you by name if you're nearby. I doubt many people would appreciate being called with a snap of the fingers.

2014, the year of the poster

Know why I have so few photos up these days?

Cuz it's such a bugger to connect the camera to my computer, upload and save the pics (and let's face it, edit the colours because no camera is perfect) and upload them to Blogger again. If I had the money, I would buy a WiFi camera right now. But I'm using that money for a week in Melbourne instead. So maybe I shouldn't be complaining.

I don't know if anyone still reads my blog, but if anyone is interested, I'm working on a bunch of megaposters at the moment. They will be displayed on several (I don't remember now, 15? 20?) university campuses around KL. So that's cool. I'm definitely gonna visit at least one of em to see how they turn out. That's why I love print. It's so exciting to see the end result that you have very little control over.

It seems that the year 2014 is all about posters so far. I've also just delivered a poster design for an exhibition in Rotterdam. If you just happen to be in Rotterdam (or if you live there even) between 31 January and 8 March, there is an exhibition happening in Belvedere called Shanghai Tan. A poster of mine will be up on display there. Pretty fan-friggin-tastic!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to see it in person as I'm only back in NL in April, but I'll make sure to get photos of it and post em up here.

Till the next time...

Back working in Desa

I have been on my extended working holiday in Kuala Lumpur now for 6 weeks.

Well, the holiday part officially ended on 7 January, but I have been sneaking in some work throughout December. Gotta make full use of my newly-purchased MacBook Pro Retina, after all #showoff

And that marks the first time I'm using a hashtag in my blog. I feel pathetic.

I just wanted to check in today to my blog because firstly, it's been a while. And secondly, because I have so much work to do and I'm just sitting here mas... procrastinating.

Did you get it? ;)

I want a WiFi camera. Just sayin'.

All the weddings in June 2012

It has been a while, and my holiday back in KL has come and gone. In fact, I just arrived back in NL this morning, so I'm quite tired but determined to stay up till a decent hour.

While I was in KL, I attended two weddings - one of them was Janice's wedding, one of my best and oldest friends from school. She married her boyfriend of eight or nine years and it was a really beautiful wedding. So happy I made it back for that!

The other wedding was Daniel's. Daniel is an ex-college mate of mine and it was through him that I met Schrobbenmaster. They were housemates while working at Nielsen and Daniel brought him to my Chinese New Year party way back in 2009. Sparks didn't fly immediately, but I grew to enjoy and appreciate, and heck, even want his company. Hehe. So Daniel's wedding was something both Schrobbenmaster and I could attend and relate to.

Besides those two main events, we did lots of fun things like sightseeing and chilling in Penang, hanging out in KL like old times (cinema, Bangsar, drinking, etc) and spending precious time with my family. I also attended Daniel's fiancee's bachelorette night - well, it was her second, as her first celebration was in Paris with a few close girlfriends.

It was that night that I met a girl, Ashley, who I later found out owns and runs a waxing and manicure beauty salon in Bangsar. I always support people who start their own businesses and grow it from the ground up. It's even one of my dreams to do that, so naturally, I have empathy for these people. She passed me her card later on at the wedding, so I thought I'd just plug it a bit on this blog, if anyone finds themselves in need of some brow/facial waxing or nailcare.

Her shop is called Apron Bay and it's on the first floor, so look up for signboards. I can't remember exactly where she said it was above, but it's on Jalan Telawi 4. The street isn't that long, so I'm sure you'll find it if you bother to look. If you want to make an appointment, the number is 03 2287 8081.

Let me upload some photos from my phone to my computer and I'll put them up in the next post... along with our new furry little addition to the house :) Till then, folks!

Christmas (early) in Kuala Lumpur

Whenever I'm in England, I have to visit Marks & Spencer for their affordable and beautiful products. This autumn was no different. I picked up three biscuit tins and a couple of wool leggings.

The shortbread is already finished, courtesy of my co-workers. I'm not such a huge fan of shortbread myself, so I brought it to the office to share. I'm now using the tin for my cross stitch :)

The third biscuit tin is a revolving musical tin, really beautiful, and still unopened. Since it's a Christmas tin, I've decided only to open it for Christmas.

I was playing around with hand-drawn typography in the days leading up to my KL visit and intended to draw all my gift tags. But as usual, I forgot that I had even done this up till now when I'm uploading all my photos to the computer. Tsk.

So this year is the first year ever I'll be spending Christmas without my family. Sad, but it's a choice I made a long time ago. So we decided to open our gifts to each other early.

An early Christmas celebration at home.

Contrary to Yelleh Belleh's very natural shocked face, she actually already knew what she was getting for Christmas.

Schrobbenmaster's new posh scarf.

Gift to Mumsy Bumsy from Yelleh Belleh and I. She loves reading biographies.

From Schrobbenmaster to Yelleh Belleh.

A beautifully packaged gift from Yelleh Belleh and I to Mumsy Bumsy.

As it turns out, I won't actually be without family this Christmas. Because Yelleh Belleh is coming over in a week! Yes, we managed to haggle an internship for her at our office, so she'll be here for the next two months. Awesome for me, not so awesome for Mumsy Bumsy :( But she'll survive and I'm sure she'll find a way to make the Christmas season jolly too.

Time to plan a nice, cosy Christmas at home. Tree first, decorations next and then recipes and games organisation after.

Christmas Shopping Day. Robinson's +1, Jusco -10.

So today was our scheduled Christmas Shopping Day.

Schrobbenmaster couldn't come out with us yet again because he's still recovering from his flu. The poor guy is spending the last few days of his holiday in bed. Sigh.

Anyway, Yelleh Belleh and I headed to Robinson's in The Gardens for our shopping. We knew what Mumsy Bumsy had asked for so we headed straight to that department. Holy moley, that item is pricey! But we did receive an RM20 voucher to spend in the same department. What a good decision then, to get similar items from the same department for other people.

Talking about receiving vouchers as a reward for spending a certain amount of money...

One of the things that irritates me about Malaysia are the measly, pathetic excuses for rewards and rebates they have.

"Spend RM300 with your credit card and get an RM10 Coffee Bean voucher!"

Just tell me, won't you, what exactly you can buy with RM10 at Coffee Bean? A small cup of orange juice is what I think.

So if you spend RM900, you get an RM30 Coffee Bean voucher. OMG. You know what? Keep your lame vouchers. As much as I like free things and things that are value for money, this is just insulting.

Another one I saw a few years back:

"Buy 2 Absolut Vodkas and receive RM5 off!"

RM freaking FIVE.
Off bottles which cost RM200 each.

Keep your RM freaking five and leave me my dignity, thanks.

ANYWAY.

Yelleh Belleh and I managed to get everything we needed, and the two shop assistants at Robinson's were so helpful and patient with us. Robinson's really knows how to train their staff, I can say that for sure.

As opposed to Jusco.
Ugh.

We couldn't find some of the cheaper items in Robinson's so we knew Jusco would be a good bet. Sure enough, we found what we were looking for, but not without some heartache from lazy Jusco staff.

Imagine:
We want to find out if there is more stock of a certain item, so we approach the nearest shop assistant. He says (with a smile, at least) that he doesn't know that section, but the woman in charge should be "over there". Okay, after Robinson's, this service just doesn't cut it. Just look for the woman and bring us to her or vice versa lah. We had to wander off in the general direction of his pointing finger and hope to find that woman.

She turned out to be alright, quite enthusiastic but also unable to help with stock enquiries. So we gave up and chose another design instead.

The cashier was really the one who irritated me. She was talking to a customer in front of me, and after waiting behind him for a bit, I realised that she was actually really just talking to him and not serving him. He was just some other staff member who was discussing an item. I had already looked for the Closed Counter sign, but it wasn't anywhere to be seen, so was I to know that she wasn't serving him as a customer? Could she not see me standing behind him with my items to be purchased? It would have been easy to just point me round to the counter behind her who was really serving customers.

Inefficient, blinkered staff.

But the funniest (in a not-so-funny way) was when we went down the escalator and turned the corner to the next escalator, and nearly bumped into a short Malay shop assistant standing right at the edge of the escalator, staring into space. Yelleh Belleh gave her three huge: "EXCUSE ME"s. But the light never came into her eyes. Even when, going down, I turned back to look at her.

Ah, Jusco. Always good for low blood pressure.

Robinson's, you're the best.

Kuala Lumpur vs Rotterdam

Since I'm leaving KL soon, back to work in NL, I've been thinking of the pros and cons, yet again, of both places. Have they changed from before? Maybe slightly. But it's always good to take stock of your feelings and impressions every once in a while to see how you truly feel about something.

Naturally, the winning statements mean that the other city has an absolute lack of those.

10 wins for Kuala Lumpur
  1. My family
  2. Malaysian food (my faves: roadside nasi lemak, wan tan mee, chicken rice, Hong Kong dim sum)
  3. My dogs
  4. Sunny, cheerful weather
  5. Huge choice of restaurants and cafes
  6. Huge and better choice of clothes and accessories
  7. Opening times till 10pm, 7 days a week
  8. Lots of product brands to choose from
  9. Affordable English fashion and art magazines
  10. Very well-designed restaurant and shop interiors

10 wins for Rotterdam
  1. Fast internet
  2. Online shopping
  3. Bicycling
  4. Pim
  5. Trustworthy police
  6. No sweating just from getting out of bed
  7. Living in the city centre
  8. Earning in euros
  9. Shop assistants know their products
  10. Everyone is more equal financially and there is less pretentiousness and superficiality

3 votes against Kuala Lumpur
  1. Potholes
  2. Overpriced items (ie. European prices at Malaysian salaries... wth?!)
  3. Traffic jams and aggressive drivers

3 votes against Rotterdam
  1. Cold and distant people
  2. Super high tax
  3. No drop-ins at the clinic when you're sick

Melting in KL, but not itching to be back in NL

Wowowowow, it's been so hot here in Kuala Lumpur the past week!

My relatives (on my mother's side) were just over for a dinner gathering to see me before I head back to Rotterdam. It was nice and cosy, and the local food was good. I had fried meehoon and a packet of nasi lemak (and one more sitting right next to the MacBook ready to be sacrificed as supper).

Poor Schrobbenmaster has fallen sick, though. He's been having bad headaches the past few days, and woke up this morning with a really high temperature. We drove him to the clinic immediately and got him some meds. After a whole afternoon and evening of sleep, his temperature is back down and he feels almost normal. What a relief! The doctor had said that if the fever didn't subside within two days, he'd have to go back for tests to see if it's H1N1 *horror and gasp* because this influenza is returning to our lives via tourists from Bangkok and Singapore. Bangkok is just nothing but trouble! I pity the people who live there who have to go through such shit almost all year round.

Anyway, we return to NL in five days, which is all too short. I'll be really sad to go back and leave my family. It's been nice to be back in KL, although I've found some things to have gotten worse, for example, the condition of the roads and the price of things in Bangsar. Fortunately, there are still friendly people around to make things okay again.

And my dogs! How great to be back with them and being around animals who express what they feel and think. Haha. I do love having Pim around, but sometimes it just feels like I'm talking to a brick wall.

What's there to look forward to when I go back? Some Christmas dinners coming up and a New Year's party that we're hosting in our apartment. It should be good!

And hopefully news that friends or family from KL will be coming over to visit. That always makes my days much brighter in anticipation.

Back in Kuala Lumpur!

I'm back in KL!

Okay, okay, I've been back for just over a week now, but I've been enjoying the offline-ness so much that I decided to embrace it and make it last for as long as possible.

So what made me decide to come back? I dunno, guess I saw this Macbook lying around so lonely and saying to me: "Don't you like me anymore?". Well, Macbook... I never even used you before, so how can I 'not like you anymore'?

Okaaaaaaaayyy..........

I'm staying in my sister's room for the stay. It used to be our old room when I was in my teens, then when my parents moved out, I made this place my 'bachelor pad' and this room was my office. I loved it loads. And now that I'm living in NL, my mum has moved back in with my sister.

Here's the view from the room.

It's really nice looking out at night when all the lights are turned on.

And this is the rest of the room and me.

My sister has this cool dressing "table" which is actually a tall chest of drawers. It looks kinda gothic with the ornate doll stuff and a dark grey skull.

Since arriving in KL, I haven't done anything noteworthy. I just wanted to chill out, shop and have coffee. I was at The Curve one afternoon and saw this beautiful long evening gown. I never wear evening gowns, but the price was so good and I never owned one before, so I thought it might be a good investment.

My mum bought it for me and soon after, I remembered that I have a wedding to attend in a few days' time where I could wear the dress to. So I was super excited. Of course, not being a good formalwear planner, I had brought nothing with me in terms of accessories or shoes. So I now have to buy everything to wear for this wedding. Luckily, cheap things can be found here if you know where to look.

I also bought a cute black wool hat in preparation for going back to NL's winter. I think I look a little Japanese in it, but that's not really a bad thing, is it?

Ta da for now... I'm off to have dinner at a mamak. One of the little pleasures in life that we take for granted :)

Do something with your life. And Skype-ing with Arran on Asha's birthday.

I've decided.

I want to make a mark on this world.

Hearing so often now of people dying all over the world (think Oslo, Amy Winehouse and Bersih 2.0 for instance) makes me think about life and death. Most of the people who died in Oslo didn't get a chance to make much of mark on the world compared to Amy Winehouse, but I know that every single one of us has the ability to do so.

So while I'm still here, I'm going to make my life worth it. Someone saw fit for me to be in this world, and I'm going to make sure I'm not just this existence who lives, works and then dies with nothing to her name, but someone who made a positive difference in people's lives.

I can start by getting off my ass and doing some hard work ;)

---

Last Sunday, I Skyped with my dad and family back in KL. It was Asha's birthday that week, so my aunt and grandmother were over for dinner. I Skyped with them after their dinner and got the chance to celebrate my sister's birthday with the family. It was really nice :)

They placed Asha and the cake in front of the webcam and invited me to start singing first. I'm pretty sure there was some lagging in the sing-along, but it was nice to be part of it.

I made screenshots of the 'party', but they're on Schrobbenmaster's laptop and I'll add them later. I was using his laptop because I wanted to take my family on a tour of the new apartment. They seemed impressed and my aunt was just confused as to why we had to pay to change the kitchen cabinets. That confused me as well until she said, "Why doesn't your landlord pay for it??". My stepmum helped to straighten that little misunderstanding out.

Then I showed Pim to my aunt, and she says:

"Why did you get such an ordinary-looking cat? He looks like a cat you can get in Malaysia!"

So I had to explain how Pim entered our lives, not by choice, but through an unhappy situation :( ...  I'm glad we have him though!

It was finally bedtime for the kids, so everyone said goodnight, but somehow left the Skype chat on. Only Yelleh Belleh and Arran were left at the computer, and the normally silent Arran, who only reacts when I stick my eye right into the webcam to make him laugh, suddenly started talking to me animatedly - about spoons.

"Che che... can you see my spoons?"
"Yes..."
"I have spoons."
"I can see..."
"I like shiny spoons."
"Me too."
"Do you have spoons?"
"Yes... and a fork."
(I showed him the fork I had used to eat a cake I happened to have in my fridge, which I pretended was Asha's birthday cake)
"I have... 1... 2... 3... 4... 5 spoons."
"Niiiiice."

And so forth.

I love speaking with children. They're so random and fun.

I can't imagine what Yelleh Belleh was doing the whole time next to Arran, but I can't imagine it was stimulating enough to keep her riveted to the chat :P In the end, I had to say Bye to Arran and his spoons because it was time to head to the final instalment of the Harry Potter series. Sad and sentimental :( But I enjoyed the show!

PHOTOS: Belated KL 2010 holiday (Ye Olde Smokehouse, Fraser's Hill and The Gardens)

Continuing my productive housekeeping Sunday - I already did the dishes, the laundry... and rolled up some wrapping paper nicely -  I hereby present some old pictures that were cluttering up my desktop to you.

When I was back for my first holiday in KL in 2010, Mumsy Bumsy, Yelleh Belleh and I went for a quick retreat to Fraser's Hill in Pahang. We stayed in Ye Olde Smokehouse and never set foot out of there except to go back to KL. It was so relaxing and cosy!

The long and lonely road to The Hills.

Okay, so we kinda got lost and took a more scenic route to The Hills. But this wasn't the reason we stopped at the police station...

This is why.

After going the whole distance and reaching the foot of the hill, we were greeted by this damn sign. And surprise, surprise... the police didn't know what to do about it. The police station is actually just on the left of this picture. So anyway, they told us that we could just go ahead, even though the paper there says "Road closed". Oh yeah, the orange sign says "Caution, fallen tree ahead" (for my non-Malay speaking readers).

So we went on...

... And halfway up, we encountered a semi-massive queue of cars which had to wait by the side of the road. We actually waited there 30 minutes before these trucks, which had been stuck behind the fallen tree, could go through. It's a very narrow road so we had to wait for the exiting traffic to pass before we could continue climbing.

But we finally arrived and checked in to a humongous room done up in old British style. Ah, the cosiness! Here's Yelleh Belleh, who seems to have found something amusing in the menu.

This is the little corner of the living room that we claimed for ourselves the whole evening. We just had tea and scones and talked and talked and talked.

Oh, how I miss scones and clotted cream! I would sacrifice my figure for scones and clotted cream.

Taking photos in our bedroom. Big four-poster bed near the door and a huge area to sit and read in two armchairs, a fairly large wardrobe with a round table with fruits and chairs, a writing desk/dressing table with a big mirror and on the left of the picture is another writing desk at two big windows and then the bathroom with nice little bottles of stuff.

We loved our room so much we had to take loads of pictures of it, of course.

And it's no accident that this armchair is in all the photos. I LOVE IT. It was so freaking comfortable! I could seriously read there all night.

 Hello, you.

Enough of Fraser's Hill. I also took my siblings for a day out at The Gardens, Mid Valley. They were so well-behaved, it was such a pleasure to take them out :)

Arran.

Arya.

Asha.

Yelleh Belleh.

Scary-faced Arran.

They are very cute, hence the bombardment of photos of them drinking in a food court.

Happy Sunday!

The man on the ground is still good

So, my first trip home to KL has been a blast. I've done almost everything I wanted to do (not had roti yet, nor 70 sen nasi lemak though...) and it's definitely felt like a proper 5-week holiday. Almost getting back into the groove of living here even.

I've had good and bad experiences in these 5 weeks.

Bad experiences
Driving. Need I say more?

Except to add that I was shown the middle finger twice - once by a taxi driver and another time by a woman. Both times it was their reckless and dangerous driving that caused me to piss them off by honking at them very loudly indeed.

Good experiences
When we first came back to KL, Bruno (my old car) was having aging troubles. In the end, he overheated on Christmas Eve, when we were on our way to lunch. We had to stop by the nearest petrol station to check out what was wrong.

After checking it out for 10 minutes and calling people who could help, up pulls a taxi and out comes the driver who's heading to the station's toilet. He passes us and asks what's wrong. When we tell him that our car has overheated, he nodded his understanding and then said, "Saya buang air dulu, ya?".

He finally came out from the toilet (whose duration was more like a buang air besar than just a buang air, but who's counting?) and then checked the car thoroughly. He finally surmised that it was the fan that was broken, or the switch connecting to the fan that was broken. He started calling his friend who sells taxis their spare parts to ask if he had any for my car, but he didn't. Even his wife came down from the taxi to check it over and give her opinion as well.

They were so helpful and friendly, even when it wasn't their problem!

In the end, I got my dad's driver to call his workshop to pick up the car because Bruno just couldn't be driven safely anymore. And the problem turned out to be aged and rusted pipes that weren't sending the coolant to cool down the engine.

My next good experience was just last week, when Mumsy Bumsy, Yelleh Belleh and I went up to Fraser's Hill for the night. Halfway up the hill, there is a point called The Gap. This point is where the two-way road ends, and a narrow one-way road begins. The rule is that cars going into Fraser's Hill can use the road during odd hours and cars coming down can use it during even hours.

We had arrived 20 minutes before the gate opened, so Yelleh Belleh and I decided to look for a public toilet. We walked 10 metres down and found a burger stall with people sitting around. We stopped to see if the toilets were behind, when a customer called out to us and asked what we were looking for. I told him, and he pointed a few steps down the road. Then I asked him if we needed to pay to go in, and he said that it was 30 sen.

My face must have fallen noticeably, because when I mentioned that we would have to walk back to the car to get our purses, he beckoned us nearer, dug in his pockets and gave us coins for both of us to use the toilet. Even when I told him it was okay, he insisted on giving us the coins. So nice of him!

---

I'm so glad to have had these experiences, reminding me that even though the state of the country and its seemingly growing racist character seems to be going downhill, the common citizen still feels a sense of community and helpfulness toward their fellow man. Cue warm, fuzzy feeling.

My purse cries tears of snakeskin and metal

Sigh sigh sigh, I've taken a few pictures for the blog, but someone needs to invent a more convenient way to transfer photos from cameras or phones to the computer! Maybe something like Bluetooth in a camera. Just access it through 2 clicks on a computer, without having to either attach cables or remove the memory card and stick it in the computer.

Anyway, I'll write about past interesting events when I have photos to accompany the stories. For now, all I can say is that the house is really quiet because Schrobbenmaster is off to Bangkok on his own. Why didn't I follow him? Because I don't really fancy Bangkok. Don't ask me why I don't, I don't have a particular reason, it just didn't pull me in like other places have done. Well, except for the awesome Green Curry Chicken with Indian Pancake at Wave Place. That is the most awesome green curry ever.

Yesterday, Schrobbenmaster and I were at Bangsar to pick up my stupendously expensive new spectacles. My previous ones are about 5 years old, so I thought perhaps it would be nice to have a new pair. Think again, JY! I'm gonna use these for the next 10 years!

The lesson I learnt is: Just because you haven't heard of the brand, doesn't mean it's not known.

This particular brand is called Lindberg and is from Denmark. They are amazingly light and minimalistic and cool and... and... all that... well, I just really have to make myself feel better by telling myself how much use I'll get out of them over the next 10 years.

(If you visit their website, you could be forgiven for thinking that they're just some nerdy, glasses manufacturer, but let me just point you in the direction that these glasses are way more expensive than the Prada ones I tried on as well)

Since we were in Bangsar, we just strolled around BV I and II and stumbled into a store called thirtyfour. Oh, woe betide my purse, for I fell in love with their snakeskin cuffs!

And after pondering for the entire dinner at Chatterbox, I finally bought one.

In case you're wondering why I have a picture of my cuff so quickly when I don't have any of New Year's, it's because I took the easy way out and took a photo with my iMac.

Thirtyfour is a bunch of Malaysian designers and smithers who are trained in industrial, metalsmithing and all sorts of other design fields. It's really interesting, so go visit their website.

The founder, I believe, is the one who went to Parsons in New York where she studied metalsmithing, after which she opened thirtyfour there and consequently in Berlin and Singapore. After a few years, she decided Malaysians were finally ready for such sophistication and opened a store in Bangsar Village II in November. This is the story I got from the two shop assistants.

I'm really glad I found it! I love the sophisticated yet tough look of the accessories (not lovin' the sharp chunkiness of the bags as much though, but to each his own).

So go visit if you're in the mood to support Malaysian stuff that is not boringly traditional or berkualiti.

On the brink of a new year!

Apologies for the thousandth time for not updating in a while. I've been so busy with Christmas shopping and generally catching up with life back home in KL for the past two and a half weeks that I've had hardly any time to catch my breath. And when I do get to sit in front of the computer, I have to do work for back in Amsterdam (the perils of being the only graphic designer in the company).

Christmas was a fun affair - we did the usual church and family thing. I spent loads on Christmas presents, and although I got less than half in return, I did enjoy shopping for the presents and just the whole fun of spending money for a purpose instead of just buying more clothes. Which I also did, of course.

I've spent way too much on clothes for myself, but I'm actually restocking for spring and summer in NL. I brought back old clothes that I want to give away and had already planned to stock my wardrobe with new things from here. But it's just that spending a whole lot of money in one day makes me feel terrible, even if it is for things that I will wear for a whole season (or two).

I'm also happy to say that my eczema is cured except for one or two patches here and there. And I no longer feel the need to scratch all night (phew!). It's been so good as well to catch up with my dogs and give them the attention they need. I missed them! They're so cute and they actually look quite tiny now that I've been living with a humongous cat for the past 5 months. It just makes them look cuter :P

I'll stop here with the updates, need to get ready to head to Dan the Drinker's place for some dinner. When Schrobbenmaster was staying with him, they used to have dinner delivered from a place called Puzzini's, which Schrobbenmaster has been missing a lot. So tonight's the night we reenact the old times.

Till next time...!
